Luminous Hollow began as a place to hold small, quiet stories—cozy fantasy and gentle magical realism that don’t ask much, but invite you to stay a while.

These stories grew out of quiet moments, shared work,
and the kind of noticing that happens when you stay in one place long enough. 

Here, you’ll find:

• A growing world of characters and places

In the Hollow, you will meet:

• Jes, my daughter, the glass artist
• Evelyn, who helps me write (and occasionally has opinions)
• A growing cast of residents, animals, and “found things”

A Place, Not Just Stories

The Hollow is not only a setting—it is a place that gathers meaning over time.

There is a farm that remembers more than it says,
a long table where people seem to arrive at the right moment,
a quiet pond, and paths that appear when needed.

If you stay long enough, things begin to connect.

Stories Meant to Be Read Aloud

Many of these stories are written with a natural rhythm for listening.

They can be read quietly, or shared out loud—
to a child, a friend, or simply the room around you.

Over time, some stories will also be recorded,
so the Hollow can be listened to as well as read.
